Based in Austin, TX; they are one of the country’s leaders in software development for educational learning with a heavy lean toward digital media production with their own in-house team of script writers, graphic artists, sound designers, animators and video producers.

Compass has recently been purchased by a private equity group, Marlin Equity Partners, for $32 million. The company was spun out of Reader’s Digest bankruptcy. Looks like Compass is poised for serious growth with their new owner and cash injection.
