Although everyone in the marketing department of Our Pets, Inc. loved this spec commercial, they were overruled by the executives in the ivory tower and did not end up purchasing this spot for their advertising campaign. Seems they were a little worried that older women would not appreciate the “SNL” humor in this one. However, my grandmother said she really liked it and that it was a lot better than the other crappy commercials she sees on TV these days. Thanks, Nanny.
It did WIN a much appreciated “Honorable Mention” prize, though.

Louisiana Hot Sauce • Bring Back the Original (2008). Found out about this little contest 4 days before the deadline. Jumped up and whipped something together within 48 hours. I got 8th place and a year’s supply of Louisiana Hot Sauce (2 cases = 48 bottles). What the heck am I going to do with that much hot sauce?
